Job summary

Piedmont Door Solutions is seeking an Automatic Door Repair and Install Technician to support middle and south Florida. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining automatic doors and related entrance products at commercial sites such as hospitals and stores.

Ideal candidates have experience with automatic doors or similar systems, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, and are comfortable using power and hand tools.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain automatic doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and other entrance or security products.
• Take initiative in projects with autonomy in a high-expectation, low-supervision environment.
• Learn techniques from trainers and grow existing skills.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional worksite and solve problems for customers.
• Work with office staff to order parts and track time spent on services.

Piedmont Door Solutions is looking for an Automatic Door Repair and Install Technician to support middle and south Florida. Our technicians repair, maintain, and install doors on location in commercial buildings, hospitals, stores, and more. We’re looking for someone with a background in residential or commercial doors, garage doors, construction, military, electrical work, fabrication, access control, glazing, carpentry, mechanical, installing or servicing products, or any other skilled trade. Piedmont Door Solutions provides the necessary training, tools, equipment, and vehicles.

In this role you will...

• Learn to be a Piedmont Door Technician: Install, repair, and maintain doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and other entrance or security products
• Take initiative: Proactively assist in projects, demonstrating autonomy in a high-expectation, low-supervision environment to drive project success.
• Learn and adapt: Embrace the opportunity to learn techniques from your trainer, building on existing skills and showing a desire to grow.
• Maintain professional worksite: Ensure a clean, organized, and professional worksite, paying attention to detail, taking pride in workmanship, and solving problems for customers.
• Work with office staff: Order and track parts, materials, and time spent on services.

LOCATION

Piedmont Door Solutions has businesses and role openings in Charlotte, Greensboro, and Raleigh, NC; Columbia, SC; Atlanta, GA; Birmingham, AL; Lake Worth, FL; and Dallas and Houston, TX. Depending on which location you choose, you may have to drive up to 2 hours to job sites.
