Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking an Automatic Door Technician to install and repair a variety of automatic door systems. The role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude and experience with access control, hollow metal, or auto doors.

You will identify customer needs, handle paperwork promptly, and maintain safety at all times. A valid driver’s license and AAADM certification are required for this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical and electrical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
• Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record
• AAADM Certification Required

Responsibilities

• Install and/or repair a wide range of automatic doors and door hardware, including swinging, sliding, bi-folding and revolving doors.
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submit in a timely manner.
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties.
• Other duties as assigned
