Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking an Automatic Door Technician to join the Door Control Services team in the Hammond, LA area. You will install and repair automatic doors and related hardware, with responsibilities including paperwork, safety, and customer service.

The ideal candidate has mechanical/electrical aptitude, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. AAADM certification is preferred, and company training provides a career path with benefits.

Door Control Services, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is seeking anAutomatic Door Technician in the Hammond, LA area. You will be working on a variety of automatic door systems, including revolving, sliding, folding, and swinging doors. If you have a mechanical and electrical aptitude and have experience with access control, hollow metal, or auto doors, please apply!

What You'll Do

• Install and/or repair a wide range of automatic doors and door hardware, including swinging, sliding, bi-folding and revolving doors
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submit in a timely manner
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring

• Prior experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical and electrical aptitude preferred
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
