DH Pace Company, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking an Automatic Door Technician to install and repair a variety of automatic door systems while ensuring safety and quality. The role involves mechanical and electrical aptitude, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working at heights with a valid driver’s license.

Experience in access control or hollow metal doors is a plus, and AAADM certification is preferred. The position includes company-provided truck after training, fuel coverage, and tool/boot

Qualifications

• Prior mechanical/electrical aptitude or related experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair automatic doors and hardware ( swinging, sliding, bi-folding, revolving ).
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with additional products and services.
• Track and submit job-related paperwork in a timely manner.
• Work safely and maintain a safety-conscious approach at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

You will be working on a variety of automatic door systems, including revolving, sliding, folding, and swinging doors. What You'll Do

• Install and/or repair a wide range of automatic doors and door hardware, including swinging, sliding, bi-folding and revolving doors
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submit in a timely manner
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical and electrical aptitude preferred
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
• Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record
• AAADM Certification Preferred
