Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. seeks an Automatic Door Installer Trainee in San Antonio, TX. You will install a variety of automatic door systems and gain exposure to access control, hollow metal, and door hardware. A mechanical/electrical aptitude and a valid driver’s license are helpful for success.

You will be part of a team focused on safety and quality, with opportunities to grow and learn in a long-standing, national company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude experience preferred (related to auto doors).
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds safely.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• AAADM Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install a wide range of automatic doors and door hardware, including swinging, sliding, bi-folding and revolving doors.
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submit in a timely manner.
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Door Control Services, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is seeking an Automatic Door Installer Trainee in San Antonio, TX.

You will be installing a variety of automatic door systems, including revolving, sliding, folding, and swinging doors. If you have a mechanical and electrical aptitude and have experience with access control, hollow metal, or auto doors.

Job Responsibilities

• Install a wide range of automatic doors and door hardware, including swinging, sliding, bi-folding and revolving doors


• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services


• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submit in a timely manner


• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties


• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred


• Prior experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical and electrical aptitude preferred


• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds


• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder


• Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record


• AAADM Certification Preferred
