Job Overview

How You Will Make An Impact

• Install automatic door operating equipment along with related storefront materials and structural hardware.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately to execute site installations according to technical specifications.
• Measure dimensions precisely with a tape measure and calculate necessary fractional adjustments.
• Apply basic electrical and electronic concepts to safely connect, test, and commission door operating systems.
• Operate standard power tools safely and efficiently while executing field installation duties.
• Work collaboratively with field teams while maintaining a neat, personal, and professional appearance.
• Complete accurate field paperwork summarizing work performed, progress, and daily timekeeping.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in construction or mechanical field installation.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (MVR report required).
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and perform basic trade math including fractions.
• Proven experience with safe power tool operation and basic electrical concepts.
• Physical capability to lift and carry equipment weighing between 75 to 100 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Prior experience installing door frames, windows, or working in glazing and carpentry.
• Previous experience in electrical, automotive, or HVAC trade fields.
• Current AAADM certification or OSHA safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 10, Fall Protection, Lift operations).
