Door Services Corporation is seeking an Automatic Door Installer to join our installation team in the Pittsburgh, PA area. This hands-on role involves site preparation, accurate measurements, and installing automatic doors and related equipment alongside experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with glass and aluminum storefronts is preferred.
• Electrical background is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years in the automatic door industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of automatic sliding, folding, revolving and swinging doors, operators and related equipment.
• Survey and prepare the worksite location for installation, including measurements and modifications.
• Assist with framing and build‑ins.
• Support safety programs and follow safety policies on site, in the warehouse and office.
• Ensure tools and equipment are working and available before starting work.
• Document the work to be performed and review with the customer.
• Oversee care and maintenance of equipment, tools and company vehicles.
• Maintain inventory in company vehicles and ensure parts availability.
• Represent Door Services Corporation with customers in a professional manner.
• Travel to customer locations throughout the service area while driving safely.
