dormakaba seeks a Field Service Technician based in State College, PA. This role installs and services a range of doors, equipment, and control devices at commercial sites, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years of mechanical experience with automatic doors, can troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues, and are capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. AAADM certification is preferred and a sign-on bonus may apply for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical experience with automatic doors or related equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install dormakaba Automatic Access Solutions equipment in commercial buildings.
• Perform corrective service and preventative maintenance on automated doors.
• Lead installer on moderately complex automatic door installations.
• Maintain project/service data and documentation diligently.
• Manage parts and keep vehicle/workspace organized.
