Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support automated welding operations on semiconductor and high-purity piping systems.
• Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain automated/orbital welding equipment.
• Follow procedures, specifications, safety and quality standards.
• Prepare pipe, tubing, fittings, and welding materials for fabrication.
• Assist with weld inspection prep, QA/QC follow-up, and documentation.
• Monitor weld quality and report issues to supervisors.
• Coordinate with field supervisors, QA/QC, engineers, and project teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area.
• Adhere to PPE, chemical, cleanroom, fab, and site safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot equipment or process issues as needed; perform additional duties as assigned.

HotFoot Recruiters is hiring Automated Welding Technicians to support semiconductor construction and high-purity piping project work for a growing construction and engineering services company in North Phoenix, AZ. This role will support automated welding activities, equipment setup, welding execution, inspection preparation, and field coordination on active project sites.

This position is ideal for candidates with hands‑on welding, orbital welding, automated welding, pipefitting, mechanical installation, or high‑purity piping experience who are comfortable working in active semiconductor or industrial construction environments.

Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire or Contract-to-Hire

Pay Range: $49.87/hr DOE

Schedule: M-F 5A-2P or 6A-3P (based on client requirement)

Responsibilities

• Support automated welding operations for semiconductor construction and high‑purity piping systems.
• Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain automated/orbital welding equipment as assigned.
• Follow welding procedures, project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Assist with preparation of pipe, tubing, fittings, and welding materials.

Qualifications

• Prior welding, automated welding, orbital welding, pipefitting, mechanical installation, or industrial construction experience preferred.
• Semiconductor, high‑purity piping, cleanroom, gas/chemical piping, or high‑tech facility experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with welding procedures, inspection standards, and field documentation is a plus.
• Able to follow detailed work instructions, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
• Comfortable working in active construction or industrial environments.
• Able to stand, walk, lift, and perform hands‑on field work for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable, safety‑minded, and able to work well with field teams.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.
• Mandarin‑English bilingual ability is a plus.
