Job summary

Adecco is hiring for Semiconductor Orbital Welders in Austin, TX, spanning entry-level to Welder II. You will weld, assemble, test, and repair vacuum and gas-delivery systems for advanced semiconductor equipment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; welding certification or technical training preferred.
  • Experience with UHP and/or orbital welding strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions accurately.
  • Basic computer skills, with strong attention to detail and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs., with the physical capacity to work in demanding manufacturing settings.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and flexible shifts as needed.
  • Welding experience with TIG/MIG, certifications, OSHA 10, and prior semiconductor manufacturing experience are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate orbital welding equipment to join stainless steel and specialty alloy tubing, fittings, and vacuum components.
  • Interpret work orders, blueprints, welding procedures (WPS), and technical drawings.
  • Assemble, troubleshoot, and repair vacuum, gas delivery, and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct inspections, tests, and verifications of welds and assemblies using measuring tools, leak detectors, and testing equipment.
  • Maintain orbital welding equipment and ensure accurate documentation of production activities.
  • Follow strict safety, quality, and cleanliness standards typical of semiconductor manufacturing environments.
  • Support continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Join the leading team in precision manufacturing supporting the semiconductor industry with Adecco! We are currently hiring for both Orbital Welder I and Orbital Welder II positions in Austin, TX. This is an exciting opportunity for entry-level candidates to kick-start their welding careers, as well as experienced welders seeking to grow within a high-tech, fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

As a Semiconductor Orbital Welder, you will be responsible for welding, assembling, testing, and repairing vacuum, pneumatic, and gas delivery systems used in cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality work while ensuring safety and adherence to strict industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Pay Details: $22.50 to $27.50 per hour
