The City of Chicago is seeking a Traffic Enforcement Technician to support the Citation Administration Division in the Department of Finance. You will review automated enforcement camera evidence, verify violations, and document incidents in the system while handling license plate data and producing daily activity reports.

This full-time role offers regular hours (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM) at 2 N. LaSalle St., and requires completion of 40 hours of training for certification.

Qualifications

• Two years of work experience in operating personal computer equipment and using standard personal computer software packages.

Responsabilités

• Reviews photographic and video evidence captured by automated enforcement camera equipment to validate Municipal Code violations.
• Reviews photographic evidence and event data, associated with potential parking, red light, and speed violations captured by automated enforcement cameras.
• Applies criteria as defined by the City of Chicago Municipal Code and accepts or rejects incidents as violations.
• Enters license plate numbers and related data into a personal computer (PC) to document such facts as vehicle, location, or time.
• May retrieve and record requested photo images, as required.
• Prepares daily activity reports.
