Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Truck Tire Builder for a manufacturing client in Illinois. You will join the production team supporting tire assembly operations and adhere to safety and quality standards.

The role requires standing 8–10+ hours per shift on 12-hour rotating shifts, with opportunities to grow your skills in automated tire-building equipment and material traceability. Pay starts at $16/hour.

Qualifications

• Follow safety procedures around moving machinery.
• Strong attention to detail for visual quality inspections.
• Familiar with production systems and barcode labeling processes.
• Willing to support tire specification changeovers and setup activities as needed.
• Physically capable of extended standing 8–10+ hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated tire-building equipment to assemble, inspect, and document green tires per production, quality, and safety standards.
• Log into MITS, record beginning and ending sequence numbers, and complete required production paperwork.
• Verify machine setup, bead measurements, and component specifications at startup and after changeovers.
• Apply, align, splice, stitch, and inspect tire components throughout the build process, including carcass and finish sides.
• Apply barcode labels, perform final tire inspections, replenish materials, scan stock tags, and maintain traceability.
