Eagle Harbor Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Automated Tester with a Secret security clearance to support EHS and our government customer. This is a remote opportunity.

The Automated Tester will be designing, coding/scripting, and automating testing activities related to various software applications based on test scenarios and test plans provided by the IPMS Testing Team. The individual should be able to provide test results from automated testing and share them with the team to detect software failures for timely correction and re-testing. The ideal candidate will support the following functions:

• Work with the Government Project Manager and the IPMS testing team to identify areas where automated testing can be most beneficial and develop a schedule for automating testing activities.
• Develop test scripts to automate testing activities covering system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and actively participate in problem solving and continuous improvement, demonstrating strong dedication to quality and communication.
• Provide SOPs and update them quarterly to cover all automated testing activities.
• Maintain a repository of up-to-date test scripts accessible to the testing team.
• Guide and mentor team members to develop scripts supporting their testing activities, aiming to reduce manual testing efforts.

Clearance Requirement:

• Active Secret Clearance

Required Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software development related to automated testing.
• Proficiency in creating automated tests for applications developed in .Net and ColdFusion.
• Experience with automation tools such as UFT.
• Familiarity with software testing practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
• Ability to write and maintain clear documentation and test scripts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Testing certifications such as UFT or comparable.
• Experience in government or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows.

Professional Skills:

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and improve quality of work products and processes.
• Strong client relationship skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Visio.
