Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a Plant Operator I to safely and efficiently operate automated rock-processing at our San Diego aggregate location. You will monitor and control equipment, resolve issues, and help keep the plant at peak performance.

The role requires basic maintenance, strong safety awareness, and clear communication in a team environment. Candidate should be capable of standing and lifting up to 45 pounds and willing to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in the construction/mining industry preferred.
• Experience with automated processing equipment preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of industrial processing equipment such as screens, crushers and conveyors.
