Qualifications

• 1+ year of powder coat painting experience preferred.
• Able to stop production and/or prevent shipment for nonconformance.
• Knowledge of mill thickness checks with a mill gauge meter.
• Proficiency with paint room programming and new recipes.
• Quality-focused with strong cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to read instructions, blueprints and control plans.
• Ability to run all paint equipment and set up guns for proper coverage.
• Team player with reliable work ethic.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain paint system to achieve optimum performance.
• Operate automatic paint guns.
• Operate manual paint gun for touch up.
• Perform necessary testing to assure quality and maintain records.
• Support environmental policy by reducing waste and improving processes.
• Understand and operate mechanical functions of equipment in the paint area.
• Adjust paint guns and nozzles for proper paint coverage.
• Clean and fill paint hoppers.
