Job summary

Electric Materials North East is hiring for an Automated Plating Utility in Pennsylvania. You will operate a plating line, load/unload racks, and package plated parts while following detailed instructions for process control.

You will inspect parts for quality, perform thickness checks, and assist with wastewater treatment and chemical handling. Collaboration with Lab Technicians and safety compliance are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 6–12 months related experience or training.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automated plating line and manage loading/unloading of plating racks as instructed.
• Package plated products for shipment and maintain colour-coded containers.
• Visually inspect parts for conformance and perform plating thickness checks as required.
• Assist with Waste-Water Treatment tasks and ensure proper operation per instructions.
• Prepare orders for arrival and departure with proper identification and packaging to prevent contamination.
• Collaborate with Lab Technician to maintain chemical and treatment standards.
