Job summary

Ravago Americas in Baytown, TX is seeking a Packaging Operator to operate automated packaging lines safely and efficiently. You will document production data, maintain quality, and support forklift tasks as needed.

This role requires at least 2 years in warehousing, forklift experience, and basic computer skills; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. The position offers a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse and/or packaging environment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience driving forklift (required)
• Knowledge of departmental work instructions and procedures.
• Functional knowledge of a production environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn business software.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual English-Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Record product and packaging information in forms and warehouse systems.
• Maintain productivity and quality as directed by Packaging Supervisor.
• Conduct visual checks on machinery and escalate issues.
• Keep work areas free of resin and debris.
• Collaborate with Packaging Supervisor and Lead on goals/KPIs.
• Assist with forklift tasks and other packaging duties as needed.
