Job summary

Ravago Manufacturing Americas in Baytown, TX is seeking a Warehouse/Forklift Operator to load, unload, and stage products using powered industrial equipment. You will also use handheld scanners to manage picking, receiving, and put-away tasks, while keeping the facility organized and safe.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of forklift/warehouse experience, strong math and reading skills, and the ability to follow daily instructions.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load product using appropriate handling and safety techniques.
• Segregate, label, check and stage inbound or outbound product correctly.
• Sign/Date and fill out all required paperwork for each load.
• Enter required data points in handheld devices.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow safety policies.
• Assist in physical/cycle counts if needed.
• Execute assignments accurately, timely, and safely.
• Identify damages/report overages/shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Use handheld scanners for picking, receiving, put-a-way, and load functions as required. Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck.
• Frequently lift up to 55 lbs. and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot and stand for long periods of time.
• Climb on and off equipment repeatedly
