Job summary

Prayon Inc in Augusta, GA is seeking a Chemical Equipment Operator to support safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. You will operate automated packaging, conveyors, and material handling systems, package finished products, and perform inventory transactions in SAP.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime, and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and ability to complete training.
• Experience operating automated packaging and material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory systems preferred.
• Forklift certification or experience operating powered industrial vehicles preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated packaging, conveying, and material handling systems.
• Package, label, palletize, and transfer finished products per procedures.
• Perform production confirmations and inventory transactions in SAP.
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Complete safety, quality, and regulatory documentation; support maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, logistics, and production teams.
