Job summary

Hru Tech is seeking a skilled Machine Builder in Greenville, SC to assemble custom medical equipment and automated machinery according to drawings and specifications.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with automated equipment, and the ability to work independently while upholding safety and quality standards. Long term contract to hire with daytime hours and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building automated machinery or custom equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings, assembly drawings, and mechanical blueprints.
• Experience using measuring tools and tape measures with intermediate proficiency.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical equipment and automated machinery from mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Document and communicate build changes, issues, and production concerns.
• Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Adhere to ISO quality standards and company safety procedures.
• Communicate project status, progress, and open issues with the Machine Build Lead throughout the build process.
• Support successful project execution related to cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Prepare materials for secondary operations including finishing, heat treating, and deburring.
• Safely operate manufacturing equipment, including: Mills, Lathes, Drill Presses, Surface Grinders, Saws, Shears, Presses.
• Assist with shop activities as needed to support project completion.
