Job summary

Gabletek Robotics and Controls Solutions is seeking two experienced Machine Builders to assemble automated manufacturing equipment in Simpsonville, SC. The role requires hands-on mechanical assembly and electrical integration of automation systems, following engineering drawings and blueprints.

The initial 10-week project has the potential to extend for six months or longer based on performance and project needs. Overtime may be required to meet build schedules and client deliverables.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble automated machinery from engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Perform mechanical subassembly and tooling assembly.
• Route and mount electrical wiring, cables, and harnesses.
• Install pneumatic tubing and components.
• Read and interpret drawings for electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Mount sensors, motors, and actuators on assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and adjust assemblies during build.
• Ensure builds meet quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams.

Job Overview

Machine Builder – Automation Equipment

We are seeking 2 experienced Machine Builders to support the assembly and build of automated manufacturing and assembly equipment in Simpsonville, SC. This position requires hands‑on experience with both mechanical assembly and electrical integration of automation systems.

The initial assignment is expected to last approximately 10weeks, with the potential to continue on additional projects for 6 months or longer based on performance and project demands.

Responsibilities

• Assemble automated machinery and equipment from engineering drawings and blueprints
• Perform mechanical assembly of machine components, subassemblies, and tooling
• Route and install electrical wiring, cables, and harnesses
• Install and route pneumatic tubing and components
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings
• Mount sensors, motors, actuators, and other automation components
• Perform equipment troubleshooting and adjustments during assembly
• Ensure builds meet quality and safety standards
• Work closely with engineering and project teams to support machine build activities

Qualifications

• Previous experience building automated assembly equipment, machinery, or automation systems
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints
• Experience with mechanical assembly, machine build, and equipment integration
• Ability to run and terminate electrical wiring and pneumatic tubing
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measurement equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
