Qualifications

• Must have hands-on maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Technical, vocational or trade school education is a plus.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Prior diagnostic, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred.
• Familiarity with various hand and electrical tools.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills in English; able to read and follow procedures.
• Willing to work overtime, off-shift, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, assemble, repair and maintain equipment and systems for production.
• Perform major and minor repairs on material handling equipment and conveyors.
• Coordinate and participate in preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance.
• Operate tools to maintain automated and manual equipment for proper functionality.
• Identify sources of problems and apply standard practices to solve maintenance issues.
• Maintain inventories of equipment parts, tools and supplies.
