Job summary

Bosch Charleston is seeking a Maintenance Technician to execute preventative maintenance on highly automated assembly lines, including presses, axis systems, robots, pneumatic systems and high‑pressure compressors. You will perform breakdown recovery, identify root causes with process technicians, and procure/install spare parts while ensuring safe operation.

You will repair and rebuild electromechanical assemblies, test functionality, and confirm equipment reliability to keep production lines

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent (2yr associate desired).
• 2 years of experience with automated assembly equipment.
• Experience with VM software and solutions (Promaster, Docmaster).
• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervision and other personnel with the ability to create clear technical instructions.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
• Must be able to function in a noisy and fast paced environment.
• Demonstrates self-initiative.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventative maintenance on highly automated assembly lines across multiple subsystems.
• Perform breakdown recovery and assist identify root causes with process technicians.
• Identify and procure spare parts and install them safely and efficiently.
• Repair and rebuild electromechanical assemblies and verify station operation.
• Ensure equipment meets high level of technical availability through preventive and reactive maintenance.
