Job summary

Royal Apparel in Hauppauge, NY is seeking an Automated Fabric Cutting Machine Operator to run a Gerber Paragon HX 2.0 and manage fabric cutting operations. Paid hands-on training provided; no prior Paragon experience required. Starting pay is $20–$24 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities to advance as you learn the workflow.

You will learn to prepare and set up cutting jobs, load textiles, verify files, operate the automated process, and maintain accurate production records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Basic computer skills and reliability are essential.
• Willingness to learn and follow detailed procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and safely work around a Gerber Paragon HX 2.0.
• Prepare and set up cutting jobs and load fabrics.
• Load and position textile materials for cutting.
• Verify production files, and select appropriate cutting jobs.
• Inspect cut parts for quality and maintain records.
