Job summary

RTX seeks an Engineering Technician, Autoclave at our Riverside, CA facility to operate and control autoclaves during curing of composite and bonded structures. This 2nd shift role (2:00PM–10:30PM) onsite, Monday–Friday, involves writing/edits to recipes, ensuring cure specs are met, and generating cure reports. Strong data handling, teamwork, and reliability are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a diploma or AA/AS degree (or 2-year post-high school training) with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience operating and maintaining machines and ensuring constant data flow.
• Experience in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate Autoclaves to support manufacturing activities.
• Review technical data/production specs to write and edit recipes.
• Ensure bonded structures meet cure specifications.
• Generate cure reports for individual parts.
• Adjust load configurations to improve cure quality.
• Provide support and direction to team members.
• Communicate with various programs on priorities.
• Assist support functions with process improvements.
• Manage and update Autoclave Tracker.
• Handle most issues within the department.
• Adhere to safe work practices and company policy.
