Job summary

Staffmark Group in Jonesboro, AR is seeking an AutoCAD Programmer to join our growing team. You will create and maintain detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings, develop layouts for fabricated parts and architectural applications, and convert sketches into precise technical drawings.

You will customize AutoCAD through scripting, generate CNC programs from CAD designs, verify accuracy, and collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams to meet specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• AutoCAD-related technical training or certification is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Job Duties

• Create and maintain detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings.

Education Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of AutoCAD programming or CAD drafting experience required.
• Experience creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings from concept sketches and specifications.
• Ability to independently revise and update existing designs.
• Experience converting CAD drawings into CNC machine programs.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD customization, scripting, or coding preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Stable work history with demonstrated job tenure.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
• Ability to review detailed technical drawings and specifications.
• Frequent use of computers, drafting software, and office equipment.
• Strong visual attention to detail and accuracy.
