Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Experience drafting plumbing, mechanical, or construction-related systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and manage plumbing layouts and drawings using AutoCAD.
• Review construction documents, architectural plans, and specifications to develop accurate plumbing designs.
• Maintain organization of all project blueprints, drawings, revisions, and related documentation.
• Distribute updated plans and drawings to field personnel and project stakeholders.
• Track drawing revisions and ensure crews are working from the most current plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, estimators, superintendents, and field teams regarding drawing updates and project requirements.
• Maintain electronic filing systems and drawing archives.
• Assist with project closeout documentation and as-built drawings when required.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented AutoCAD Plumbing Drafter to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in the planning and execution of plumbing projects by creating, organizing, and managing plumbing layouts and construction drawings from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proficient in AutoCAD, and capable of maintaining accurate project documentation while ensuring field personnel have the most current information available.
