Job summary

NVI LLC, a Louisiana-based nondestructive testing service provider, seeks a meticulous AutoCAD Designer to support a long-term project in McIntosh, AL. The role focuses on creating, revising, and maintaining piping isometric drawings using AutoCAD, interpreting field sketches and client documents.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and creating piping isometric drawings.
• Ability to read P&IDs, piping layouts, and engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of industrial piping systems and drafting practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Create, revise, and maintain piping isometric drawings using AutoCAD.
• Interpret field sketches, redlines, engineering drawings, and client documentation.
• Ensure drawings accurately reflect existing field conditions and project requirements.
• Maintain drawing revisions and document control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and field personnel to resolve drawing discrepancies.
• Verify drawing accuracy and completeness prior to release.
• Organize electronic drawing files in accordance with company and client standards.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
• Follow all company safety policies and client site requirements.
