Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional work experience in a related field.
• Working knowledge in AutoCAD CAD or equivalent CAD applications.
• Proficient in both 2D drafting and 3D modeling techniques.
• Basic understanding of good engineering, design, and architectural practices.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes.
• Ability to work independently once project requirements are understood.

Responsibilities

• Execute project tasks under the direction of the Project Manager and Project Engineer.
• Develop CAD deliverables per requirements and specifications, including 2D drawings, 3D models, piping isometrics, P&ID & PFDs.
• Develop skills to read and interpret design drawings.
• Assist with field work, such as information gathering, sketching piping for P&IDs, or laser scanning.
• Responsible for accurate and timely project file management (CAD files, vendor files, emails, etc.) and dissemination of project information.
• Provide meaningful feedback to project teams and CAD Manager to help the CAD team improve performance.
