Job summary

Mesa Associates, Inc. is seeking an Electrical CAD Drafter to join the GIG South team in the Tennessee region.

You will create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams for power generation projects, collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure accurate, code-compliant designs and smooth builds. The role emphasizes AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD tools, documentation maintenance, and supporting fabrication and field installation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of experience creating drawings in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software.
• 3D modeling experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and cable drawings.
• Develop and revise electrical documentation based on changes and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and designers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Assist with electrical control panel design and layout following industry standards.
• Maintain drawing revisions and documentation in company systems.
