Colorado Springs Utilities is seeking an AutoCAD Drafting Technician to support the Gas Advanced Design team in providing engineering drawing and design support for critical gas pipeline infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have AutoCAD drafting experience, preferably Civil 3D and/or Plant 3D, an associate degree in an engineering or technical discipline, familiarity with gas pipeline
Our Gas Advanced Design team is comprised of professional engineers and engineering support staff who impact the performance, safety, and reliability of our gas pipeline infrastructure through engineering design efforts and related projects. We are hiring an AutoCAD Drafting Technician with expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Plant 3D to provide engineering drawing and design support for critical gas pipeline infrastructure projects.
We are seeking to hire an AutoCAD Drafting Technician; this position will be filled at the mid-level (Specialist) or senior level (Specialist Senior). Selection will be dependent on the qualifications, experience, and certification level of the successful candidate. Pay is commensurate with level.

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (1/3 of the time), and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.
