Job summary

Mentor Technical Group in Puerto Rico is seeking a CAD Drafter to support life sciences projects. You will develop and implement drawings in AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with client standards and internal cGMP policies.

The role requires an associate degree in drafting or engineering, and relevant experience. You will coordinate schedules, review drawings with engineers, and help track project progress to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Associate degree in drafting or engineering is required.
Technical college diploma with equivalent industrial experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate development of drawings for assigned projects.
Create and implement drawings in AutoCAD per client standards.
Coordinate project as assigned.
Schedule meetings with staff and outside contractors.
Coordinate project team meetings and ensure necessary materials are available.
Prioritize project schedule and meet deadlines.
Track and document project progress.
Develop drawings in AutoCAD per client standards.
Consult with engineers to interpret design concepts and determine working drawings.
Review schematics and documents to verify part configurations, dimensions, and tolerances.
Locate files in database and record completed job data.
Review work orders and manuals; resolve problems with vendors and staff.
Generate final layout data for masks and plotting.
Supervise and coordinate drafting staff.
Follow cGMP and safety policies.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
