Direct Supervisor: Engineering Manager
Job Summary: The AutoCAD Drafter utilizes software to provide support to Engineering and Operations by preparing routine and detailed layouts for various disciplines including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, and as-built drawings. They create Front End Engineering Drawings (FEED), support regulatory maintenance of drawings through routine reviews, and store drawings in the form of up-to-date drawing history within the company filing system, all while adhering to corporate technical standards. The AutoCAD Drafter has a solid understanding of drafting techniques, design layouts, and engineering terminology. Additionally, they possess mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
