Job summary

L.K.Jordan & Associates is seeking a dependable AutoCAD Designer for a six-month project in Johnson City, TX. The role focuses on updating floor plans, evacuation maps, assembly drawings, and schematics across multiple locations.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with 2 in-office days per week, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. Travel to various sites to research layouts and update maps is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting standards.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Update and modify existing AutoCAD floor plans and schematics.
• Travel to multiple sites to verify layouts and gather field data.
• Create evacuation maps, furniture layouts, and assembly drawings.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide drafting support for project planning and executive approvals.
• Review and update line drawings of construction assemblies and material guides.
