Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is partnering with a leading organization to hire a 3D AutoCAD Detailer who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment. This hybrid role requires strong 2D and 3D AutoCAD experience to transform design concepts into production-ready drawings with BOMs and CAD files.

You will create plan views, elevations, isometric and section drawings, generate DXF/CNC layouts, and collaborate across production and engineering teams while using Autodesk Vault for file

Qualifications

• Strong experience creating production-ready drawings in manufacturing or production environments.
• Proficient in 2D and 3D AutoCAD with modeling and dimensioning.
• Experience with Autodesk Vault and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with teams in a deadline-driven environment.
• AutoCAD Certified Professional is preferred but not required.
• Tradeshow, exhibit, or face-to-face marketing industry experience is a plus.

• Communicate project updates and technical concerns effectively with leadership

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong 2D and 3D AutoCAD experience who enjoy transforming design concepts into detailed, production-ready drawings. Candidates must be comfortable working in a hybrid environment and have a dedicated home office setup with a hardwired internet connection and an additional monitor.

What You’ll Do

• Create detailed production-ready drawings using AutoCAD, CAD, and ExpoCAD
• Develop plan views, elevations, isometric views, section views, and detailed drawings
• Generate CNC layouts and DXF files as needed
• Prepare and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and drawing packages
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and internal teams to ensure project accuracy
• Organize and maintain files using Autodesk Vault
• Track project status and time using company systems and tools
• Communicate project updates and technical concerns effectively with leadership

Qualifications

• Extensive proficiency in both 2D and 3D AutoCAD, including modeling tools and dimensioning commands
• Experience producing detailed technical drawings in a manufacturing or production environment
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Vault and Adobe Acrobat Professional
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment
• AutoCAD Certified Professional preferred but not required

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite 3 days per week
• Must have hardwired internet access for remote work days
• Must have an additional monitor available for use
• Ability to work overtime as business needs require
