Job summary

HarveStaff LLC in Muscatine, IA seeks a CAD Technician for a contract role starting October 5, 2026. You will create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and support engineering teams on construction, manufacturing, and other projects.

The position requires an Associate's degree in Drafting or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience), ability to read blueprints, and strong attention to detail. Start time 04:30 AM; background checks required. Pay range is $36.45–$44.45 per hour.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Design, or a related technical field.
Equivalent hands-on experience may substitute for the degree.
Must pass drug screening and criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

Create detailed plans, layouts, and cross-sections using AutoCAD.
Convert hand sketches, redlines, and verbal instructions from engineers and architects into final technical drawings.
Revise existing drawings based on client feedback, test results, and team redlines.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction crews to ensure designs are practical and accurate.
Organize, label, and maintain digital drawing libraries and project records.
