Actalent is seeking a Drafter in Spring, TX to produce detailed AutoCAD 2D drawings and to develop and manage project BOMs. You will collaborate with engineering, production and sales to translate concepts into accurate documentation and ensure timely part coordination.

Responsibilities include drafting, updating drawings, maintaining parts lists, and supporting product development and modifications with cross-functional teams. Onsite role, contract-to-hire potential.

Competenze

• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D for engineering drawings.
• Experience creating and maintaining BOMs for projects.
• Comfortable working with engineering, production and sales teams.
• Attention to detail in drafting and documentation.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepare engineering drawings of standard products using AutoCAD 2D to standards.
• Create accurate product drawings in AutoCAD 2D to support manufacturing and engineering needs.
• Develop and maintain project BOMs with correct components and quantities.
• Maintain equipment parts lists and updated documentation as projects evolve.
• Order parts with correct part numbers and quantities.
• Schedule deliveries to align with timelines and production.
• Reconcile invoices for parts against PO and project needs.
• Assist in product development by drafting drawings from prototypes.
• Prepare drawings for new projects and modifications as needed.
• Support changes by updating existing drawings per customer requests.
• Collaborate with engineers, shop personnel, and sales to resolve issues.
• Apply 2D modeling knowledge to ensure manufacturability and accuracy.
