Job summary

Mountain America Credit Union in Sandy, UT seeks a Title Support Specialist to assist with the titling process and support loan officers. You will provide quality member service across channels and coordinate with DMV offices to ensure timely title processing.

The role requires 1–3 years' related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and proficiency with 10-key, typing, Windows, and Microsoft Office. Monday–Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of DMV fees/forms for proper processing.
• Record title notes on member accounts and file paperwork accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Serve members and internal customers by answering questions and assisting in the titling process to ensure quality service across multiple channels. Provide timely and accurate service to members and enhance their financial relationships with Mountain America.

Location and Schedule

Location: Mountain America Center, 9800 South Monroe Street, Sandy, UT 84070.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM; rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality service to credit union members to assist with the titling process.


• Adhere to call handling and quality review procedures.


• Assist loan officers in perfecting titles on all auto, boat, and RV loans to ensure Mountain America has secured the collateral.


• Promote and maintain effective partnerships with branches, member service teams, and credit union members.


• Serve as liaison with all state and/or county Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to obtain titles, solve problems, research issues, and ensure timely processing of title paperwork.


• Maintain knowledge of DMV related fees and forms for proper processing.


• Accurately record title notes on member accounts.


• Maintain accurate filing of title paperwork.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

General Title Responsibilities

• Releasing titles to members and other financial institutions


• Request for letters of guarantee


• UCC filing and follow-up


• Outstanding title follow-up

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of similar or related experience.


• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Computer and office equipment skills – adding machine/10-key, typing minimum 35 words per minute, basic Windows navigation, intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).


• Language skills – ability to read, understand and carry out instructions in written and oral form.


• Effective communication in a team environment; dependable, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated with excellent customer service skills and follow‑through; able to work independently with little supervision.


• No supervisory or managerial responsibilities.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Physical demands – talk, hear, sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms; stand, walk, kneel, crouch occasionally.
