Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an Auto Technician/Auto Mechanic at BMW Las Vegas, NV to perform repairs and maintenance with a focus on safety and reliability. The role involves working with customers, service advisors, and technicians to ensure high-quality workmanship and timely service.

Earn $29-$37+ per hour depending on experience, trainings, and certifications; eligible for longevity bonuses based on productivity and overrides.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive technical training as needed.
• Attention to detail and safety consciousness.
• Valid in-state driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance per repair order to dealer and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend safety and reliability improvements.
• Document work performed on each vehicle and maintain tools inventory as needed.
• Stay updated with factory bulletins and training classes.
