Cox Automotive's Manheim Phoenix location in Tolleson, AZ is hiring an Automotive Technician II to perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and inspections across a variety of vehicles. You'll work on-site with a team that values safety, accuracy and customer service.

This role features a 4 10's schedule (Mon-Thu or Tue-Fri), a $3,000 new-hire bonus (includes a $1,500 tool bonus), and opportunities to grow through ASE certifications and skills development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years related experience, or higher education with 1 year related experience, or 5 years related experience without degree.
• Valid driver''s license with safe driving record.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly skilled maintenance and repairs across a broad range of vehicle systems.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and drivability issues including brakes, tires, suspension.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics across key systems including starting/charging, AC, OBDII and electrical.
• Complete detailed mechanical inspections with measurements and document deficiencies across interior, exterior, engine and driveline components.
• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards, including proper handling of recyclables, fluids, tires and waste.
• Assist with upfitting new vehicles with required equipment.
• Source and manage parts through approved vendors.
• Support additional service needs including OEM recalls.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Current ASE Certification: G1, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8

USD 22.02 - 33.08 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $22.02 - $33.08/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
