BMW of Wilmington is seeking a Flat Rate Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to dealership and manufacturer standards. You will perform tests, repairs, and part replacements while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and communicating closely with the Service Advisor.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent with related experience; ASE certification is preferred. The role involves standing, lifting, and working in an automotive shop environment with occasional long hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with two years of related experience.
• ASE Certification is preferred.
• Ability to work in a busy automotive shop and follow safety procedures.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and testing to determine required repairs.
• Repair engine, mechanical, and electrical systems as needed; replace parts as required.
• Verify serviceability and perform test drives to ensure quality repairs on first attempt.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; manage inventory and supplies.
• Communicate with Service Advisor on additional work and write/update work orders.
