Job summary

DriveTime Family of Brands is hiring an Automotive Technician to perform basic maintenance and repairs on inventory vehicles and, where applicable, emissions testing. You will also ensure proper documentation and a safe, compliant work area within our facilities.

The role requires the ability to learn and operate basic computer systems, maintain organization, and meet performance targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Certificate or Associates degree in automotive technology or at least 2 years of automotive repair work experience.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on inventory vehicles.
• Explain automotive repairs and issues to management to minimize re-work and delays in production.
• Proper documentation of all work performed in DT systems.
• Keep area clean and organized to maintain highest level of safety and compliance.
