Job summary

M.C. Llc in Vermont seeks a skilled Mechanic to provide preventive maintenance and repair services for cars, trucks, and other vehicles.

You will interact with customers, diagnose issues, and perform maintenance to keep vehicles running safely and efficiently. The role requires inspecting vehicles, performing brakes and tune‑ups, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• ASE Certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Succeeds in a team environment and works well with others.
• Passion for automotive repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect each customer vehicle for needed repairs and inform the customer/store management.
• Perform general auto repairs including brakes, tune ups, and light repair.
• Complete all required computer-based training and other on the job training within the required timeframe.
• Report for shift on time and dressed in proper uniform with PPE.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment adhering to safety procedures.
• Greet all guests in a professional, pleasant manner.
• Attend store safety and team meetings.
• Guide guest vehicles into/out of the bay area and manage oil checks and fluids.
• Perform lower bay oil changes, filter replacements, and ensure no leaks.
