Job summary

Sonic Automotive is seeking qualified automotive technicians to join our service team in Florida. You will receive repair orders, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and document your work with attention to quality and safety.

Responsibilities include coordinating with parts and service advisors, ensuring workmanship meets factory standards, and road-testing vehicles as needed. A valid driver's license and clean record are required.

Qualifications

• High CSI is required.
• ASE or factory training is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders from dispatcher and take to stall area.
• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Document work performed and time spent.
• Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician.
