Amerit Fleet Solutions in Lyndhurst, VA is hiring a Gas Engine Technician/Mechanic to maintain and repair fleet engines. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, document repairs, and ensure safety standards are met.

$25.00 - $35.00 hr | Weekly Pay

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00/hour (based on experience)Pay Frequency: Weekly pay - every FridaySchedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years' of hands-on experience performing GAS vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (detailed below)
• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a mobile and or shop environment that may include exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical irritants such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform essential functions that include lifting heavy objects, accessing tight spaces, and bending, stooping, crouching, or crawling as needed to complete repairs.
