Inspect, adjust, and replace necessary units and related parts including valves, pistons, brakes, main bearing assemblies, cooling systems, ignition systems, fuel systems of gasoline and diesel powered vehicles.• Repair and replace transmissions, differentials, and front and rear end assemblies, air compressors, hydraulic systems, electronic ignition systems, electronic fuel injection systems and other specialized related equipment.• Perform welding work incidental to completion of repair assignments.• Repairs damaged automobiles, using specialized repair tools and equipment. Any equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting 1 year of satisfactory full-time paid employment for 1 year of the required education with a maximum substitution of 2 years.Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
