Job summary

Big O Tires in Missouri is seeking a General Service Technician to perform tire installation, oil changes, and vehicle service with accuracy and safety. The role includes unloading tires, inspecting tires, and maintaining a clean store.

Strong customer service and sales skills are valued, with training provided. Minimum age 17, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and willingness to work outdoors, holidays, and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 17 years of age or older with parental consent
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Ability to exchange accurate information with customers
• Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds
• Valid driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Drain oil and change oil filter; lubricate vehicles; install, rotate and balance tires; check and fill fluids
• Unload tires and supplies from trucks and deliveries
• Inspect disposed tires and manage storage or disposal
• Maintain clean facilities, tools, and shelves
• Greet customers and provide fast, friendly service; promote products/services
• Perform pricing, promotions, and suggestive selling per policy
• Maintain store appearance to Big O Tires standards
• Safely operate vehicles in service areas; complete required training
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor; assist training of new employees
• Adhere to company policies; perform other duties as assigned
