Job summary

Main Street Auto in Whiteville, NC, is seeking a tire and lube technician to perform tire rotations, oil changes, inspections, and related services. This role emphasizes precision, safety, and customer service in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience as a tire and lube technician preferred.
Proficient knowledge of tire installation and oil change procedures.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
Excellent attention to detail and time management.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Perform tire rotations, installations, and repairs with precision and efficiency.
Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify any potential issues or safety concerns.
Conduct wheel alignments and balance tires to promote even tread wear and vehicle stability.
Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.
Assist customers with tire recommendations, answering inquiries, and providing outstanding customer service.
Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines while working in a shop environment.
