Job summary

Martin Tire & Auto in El Paso, TX is seeking a General Service Technician to perform non-technical service tasks such as oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, flushes, and other basic maintenance under the guidance of ASE Certified Technicians. This could be the beginning of your successful career.

You will receive on-the-job training with the opportunity to advance toward ASE Automotive Technician certification.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive experience preferred; capable of basic service tasks.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work Monday–Saturday in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers when needed.
• Picks up parts and tires as required.
• Operates company vehicle safely and observes traffic laws.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, balancing and rotations.
• Completes oil changes and basic services under supervision.
• Documents vehicle condition and safety concerns per procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and work areas.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns.
