Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is hiring General Service Technicians for our Caldwell, NJ area service centers. This full-time role offers paid training, competitive weekly pay, and weekly incentive compensation.

You’ll perform essential tire and maintenance services, learn from experienced automotive professionals, and have opportunities for career growth within the nation’s largest automotive service organization.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Be comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following safety and service procedures
• Assisting ensure quality service and timely completion of vehicles
